Just thought I would put down some of my thoughts and hopes and views for the future.

Saturday, July 01, 2006 -- This is a quotation from President Regan that a Republican group used for one of their presidential advertisements.  I believe it was made in relationship to our previous cold war but it has even more relevance today than when it was initially quoted.

"You and I have a rendezvous with destiny.  We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness.  If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here.  We did all that could be done."
